Meet the Owners
Greg and John are both Occupational Therapists with a passion for helping individuals maximize their quality of life by achieving their highest level of independence. They both started in direct patient care before joining forces in 2008 to create Visiting Rehab Services.
By 2016, Greg and John expanded their vision by acquiring a skilled home care agency, which evolved into Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS). In 2019, VRNS was approved as ABI/MFP waiver providers, followed by becoming SME providers in 2020 and, most recently, becoming an approved MassHealth provider in 2023.
Why We Do It
Driven by a shared desire to help others, the two owners of VRNS, Greg Stelmach and John Pizzolato, both chose occupational therapy as a way to make a tangible difference in people’s lives. Their experiences in patient care inspired them to start VRNS, with a vision to provide exceptional care that supports individuals in their own homes.
Over time, they recognized the need for specialized services, particularly for those with neurological injuries, and expanded their company to meet these needs. Today, their mission remains focused on empowering patients through compassionate, individualized care, ensuring they live safely and independently at home.
